Frankincense (Boswellia sacra)
Frankincense or frankincense resin has been part of our human history for thousands of years. It has been used in spiritual rituals in India and the Orient, and we can also find its distinctive scent in the Christian religion. The resin of the frankincense tree is not only used for burning, but was also known for its health benefits. The famous Greek doctor Hippocrates, for example, valued frankincense. The Arab philosopher and doctor Avicenna also mentioned incense in ancient times. In more western regions we are only just beginning to take advantage of the healing properties of this precious gift of nature. The resin of the frankincense tree Boswellia sacra is considered to be of particularly high quality. That is why we only get our frankincense from this type of tree that grows in Oman.

Myrrh Extract (Commiphora Myrrha)
Myrrh is the resin of the approximately three meter high, prickly shrub Commiphora myrrha. You can find it on the west coast of Arabia, on the sea coasts of Yemen, Oman, Egypt and Sudan and in the interior of Somalia. Myrrh has appeared under various names over the millennia: In Latin it is known as Commiphora Myrrha. The ancient Egyptians called myrrh “Bol / Bola”, while “Vola” comes from Sanskrit. The terms “Heera-bol” or “Bol / Bola” are also used in Persian and Indian.
The valuable resin from the myrrh bush is extremely aromatic and has a bitter taste. The name of the plant is derived from the ancient word “mur”, which means “bitter”.
In the ancient Egyptian writings, the so-called papyri, we find the myrrh again. It also appears in the Indian Vedas, in the Bible and of course in the Koran. Mostly it is about the ritual meaning of myrrh, because this is traditionally used in the fumigation of sacred spaces or in the liturgy. Myrrh is also used in combination with frankincense for smoking rituals.
If we look further around the ancient scriptures, we will see that myrrh can also be used for internal purposes. It has a contracting, disinfecting effect that the ancient Egyptians appreciated. According to folk medicine, myrrh is suitable for nonspecific intestinal infections, coughs and the treatment of wounds.
Myrrh is one of the most sought-after commodities in the world – that was already the case back then and has not changed to this day.

“Gold” Macerate from oak buds
The oak has long been a symbol of hardness and strength. Hildegard von Bingen, an important scholar, characterized the essence of the oak with the following words: “The oak is hard and bitter. There is nothing soft in it.” But oak also has a pleasant, even beneficial, effect on us.
Due to its immense power, it is considered the cosmic center of wisdom. The oak grows slowly but steadily. Because it’s so massive and durable, it’s often associated with honor, grandeur, and health. An oak can live for more than 300 years! Because of the valuable substances it contains, it represents a golden symbol of life. Its wood is valued and used to this day because of its resistance, hardness and durability.
Oak trees absorb minerals like calcium, potassium, and gold from the soil. These strengthen the tree and actively protect its buds.
Pastor Kneipp also recommended the regular consumption of oak buds. He was convinced that they serve to strengthen children and the elderly in particular. Today we mainly use it to harmonize body, mind and soul.
Our extraordinary product is made on a purely natural basis, contains macerated oak buds (Quercus robur) and delicate natural aromas that balance the natural bitterness of the oak macerate. You will be amazed by the amazing aromatherapy experience.
